Recent Amsterdam Inn Review: "I've never stayed in NYC overnight before. I opted for a room with a private bath. The bathroom was small, but it's NYC. The room was excellent. It was warm, clean, and so comfortable. The bed was so comfortable. There was a sign at the front desk that said there was construction from 7am to 6pm, but in the room we did not hear a sound. There was no elevator in the hotel. The hotel was, no joke, two blocks away from central park. It was amazing. I definitely recommend this place as a place to stay. The people at the front desk were so nice, and let you hold your luggage behind the desk for the day that you check out, so you can enjoy the city without having to lug your things around. What a great hotel!"
