| We had a pleasant stay in this smallish hotel. It was an easy walk to the subway (about two blocks), and had convenient parking across the street. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. My only complaints are the water pressure and that there was a guy smoking in the elevator - he was leaving as I was getting in. I think it was an isolated incident though.
A few things to know before staying at the hotel. The parking lot across the street is a cash only business, you pay when you park. There are restaurants and a few stores in the area, but not a great variety of restaurants or bars. |

| Not for everyone, the Flushing Main Street neighborhood is working class and more authentic (not as touristy) Asian than the Manhattan Chinatown area. Really good little restaurants (Sechuan, Thai, Cantonese, Hong Kong Seafood) have moved into this area. Convenient to Laguardia and if you can "do" the subway, it is a 30 - 45 minute ride via 7 train to Times Square. Just be warned that the trains can be very packed during rush hour. Wait for an express train!
The hotel was a solid value, clean and well-maintained. Staff was courteous and efficient. Breakfast in the morning is basic and the exercise room is small but workable.
I liked the place! It was half the price of a Manhattan room during the week I stayed. Worth the subway ride... |

| When I drove to this hotel and called the front desk for direction, the front desk lady answered my phone with unwelcome tone and was not friendly. The room is good, and the bath room is clean, but I found a live spider in my bed. |
