| a charming hotel in a great location...walk to chinatown, soho, noho, tribeca...new hotel with great rooms and the best shower i have ever had in a hotel...the owners and staff were wonderful and made me feel like family...very security conscious which in new york is a plus! will go back with my wife for a romantiv weekend of shows and restaurants soon! |

| This is a charming hotel that avoids the cosmo hip feel that has become so common in the ciy. It reminds me of the way that NYC was decades ago. The room and building do not hold a generic feel.
The staff is professional and extremely helpful. Rooms were well cared for. The neighborhood is not excactly a tourist "hot spot" but it was safe and quite. |

| The hotel is small and cozy; quite comfortable. It is closer to a B&B in the sense that there are only 20 or so rooms all together. The only downside is that it is far away from most of Manhattan (1 mile from NYU, 3 miles from Broadway). All staff members were very friendly and took pride in working there. |

| Fantastic opportunity to stay in a historic building that has been lovingly and painstakingly restored by an artist. Much attention to detail, beautiful and soothing room. This is a no-frills hotel, so if you are looking for an ice-maker, business center, or gym, stay at a chain. If you are looking for a unique, artsy, gem of a hotel, with a real history and real owners, book yourself at the Blue Moon. I will definitely be going back. |

| Quaint, old fashioned, but extremely clean hotel. Most modern travelers would appreciate a full length mirror somewhere in the room. Small mirror in corner of bathroom over sink inadequate for applying make-up and dressing. Quirky door lock I was never able to work alone. Consider hotel location carefully before booking room. I did not find subway connections quick or convenient and was given incorrect information by desk clerk as to lines and transfers available at nearest station. This resulted in my being late to meeting and walking halfway across the island with heavy business materials. i also found the hotel quite expense compared to others I have stayed at when considering convenience of location, subway connections and room amenities. Fun if someone else is picking up the bill. |
