| Excellent value for the neighborhood. Staff was very helpful and professional. My only complaint would be that the shades were indsufficient to darken the room as i prefer darkness to sleep deeply. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable. |

| I booked this hotel because it was near an event. When we arrived, they could not find my reservation. The hotel discovered that the they had enter the reservation for the wrong night. To make up for the inconveninece, they gave us a triple upgrade, a very nice corner room with a triple bed. The hotel also gave us a complimetary bottle of wine. The staff were very polite and helpful. We enjoined our stay and would stay again. |

| I have stayed at this hotel before, but never had a room with such a minute shower room, and this was after an up-grade. The basin was tiny, and falling off the wall. I understand that over 70 rooms have similar bathrooms. I recommend you avoid this hotel, or have them confirm that you have a regular sized bathroom. You also may not like the lack of privacy as the 'wall' between the bath and bedrooms is frosted glass, and rather see-through. Also, there is no regular, black tea, in the hotel. A mojor oversight. A very disappointing stay. |

| The Carlton is a nice hotel with decent sized rooms. The hotel unfortunately needs an updating to the rooms. Some rooms have dated furniture, small holes in the walls or curtains are dated. Overall a good hotel for size of room and the money. |

| As most of NY hotels, the room is tiny but confortable and well decorated. No disturbing chemical smell, very nice wash room. |

| I checked-in after making it in from Salem with zed time in between switches in transportation from the North Shore to NYC. I went down quickly to the bar for a drink and had a melt-down. They took care of me is all can say:)) And how lovely, was one of the owners of the hotel when faced with such a what??? I will now stay there whenever possible, if they will have me. I am normally calm until I am not, BTW...how tragic:((( |
