Central Park is bracketed by the Upper East and Upper West Sides. The Park was created in the 1850s and its beauty remains impressive to this day. Take the time to wander around lakes, through surprisingly dense woodland and across broad meadows - or do what New Yorkers do, and take a morning jog around the Reservoir. Be ready to follow your ears. They may lead you to a staged or impromptu concert. Keep an eye out for statues. They're not all on pedestals. Some perch on stones or ledges.
Don't forget to stop by The Boathouse Restaurant (inside the park at 72nd Street) for a delicious Brunch! They also rent Row-Boats and Bicycles so you can explore a different side of Central Park.
