| An extraordinary contemporary custom design with an elegant feel, terrific art (& art book) collection, imaginative use of space, and - most important - a staff that really truly cares about top-notch service. You cant even tell it's a hotel from outside, but this only increases the sense the privacy Once you've stayed here you will look forward to your next Manhattan visit - and tell your friends about it in the meantime. |

| could be better visible from the street,
even if we did not use any of the bar, nut, etc there is no junk, only good quality stuff. a pleasant stay. |

| We've stayed in many of the NYC boutique hotels over the years and like the Chambers the best - for location, quality of the room where it counts (linens, great shower) and service. (Although I will note that the high-pressure open shower will result in a good amount of water on the bathroom floor!) Extra cost for street side, slightly larger room in my view is probably worth it, although backside rooms are fine too. May not have everything the 4 seasons has, but with $400 plus per night savings by comparison, and top quality in the things that count, the Chambers is hard to beat. |
