Recent Club Quarters Opposite Rockefeller Review: "My husband and I planned a trip to New York for my birthday weekend (Oct 16 & 17). We have never been before so we didn't really know what to expect except a lot of people and crazy taxi drivers. We booked this hotel being that it was the only hotel with a high rating that was in our price range. We were hesitant at first with it being affordable considering  it was right by time square and rockefeller center but we were so glad we chose this one! To start off we parked in the wrong garage (being from another state we had no idea about the awful parking situation)... but we didn't know where to go, so we checked in to our hotel instead of getting more aggravated just driving around clueless. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and when the staff discovered we parked in a garage that wasn't affiliated with them they went out of their way to get our ticket validated so we only had to pay 40 for parking instead of 80! As for our room, it was smaller than if you were to stay in another city but it was definitely spacious enough for two people, not nearly small enough to complain about at all. The hotel was very modern, super clean, peaceful, & the view from our room was amazing! (We could see St. Patrick's cathedral & the ice skating rink!) And if that wasn't enough the night we decided to have a romantic, quiet dinner the staff reccomended a place to us and even called to reserve us a table. I usually never take the time to write reviews about hotels but this hotel was definitely worth taking the time to let people know how wonderful it is. Besides the horrible parking situation (which apparently you can't avoid in NYC unless you don't drive at all) we have not one thing to complain about. It was within walking distance to EVERYTHING, the staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful, our room was quite perfect for us, and they even offered to hold our bags after check out so we didn't have to drag them around the city. We can't wait to go back to NYC and when we do thi"
