Recent Crowne Plaza Times Square Review: "The hotel is located close to everywhere. Rooms were spacious, a 2 double bed is roomy enough for 4 people. M&M, Starbucks, Tkts, Fridays, Applebee's, Tads steaks, Famiglia, Sbarro and Braodway shows are all walking distance. I do not exagerate how perfect this hotel is for the price i paid. The only thing was that the house keeping people keeps yelling on the hallway at about 10 am - 3 pm when they clean the rooms, so no afternoon nap for you. Also the fire alarm went off at 4 am and we had to go down the stairs from the 32nd floor for something that was a false alarm. They did not even apologize or at least gave us a comp for whatever (free internet, movie, extra pillows, free leg massage, discounted breakfast or late checkout) would have been a good gesture. It almost felt like it was just a dream, i don't even know if that really happened at 4 am with 1 hour through my sleep, who would know. Other than that, i will come back and will recommend this hotel to anybody who is going to New York (although will ask for lower floors next time i stay...My legs are still hurting)."

| Overview |
|
Soaring 46 floors into the Midtown sky, the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan is a giant amid the bright lights of the Great White Way. This 770-room hotel is about 1 block from Father Duffy Square, where crowds line up for discounted Broadway tickets at the distinctive red-and-white TKTS booth. The Crowne Plaza's central location also serves as a convenient base to explore the rest of Manhattan, with the nearest subway stop less than 1 block away. Even though the hotel is situated in one of New York's most vibrant neighborhoods, you'll be pleased to find that Crowne Plaza offers places to unwind. Scotch lovers can sample one of 89 labels at the hotel bar. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served at the hotel's upscale restaurant, where the menu is partial to American comfort food. The fitness center, operated by New York Sports Club, boasts a large indoor lap pool. Plus, the helpful concierge staff can assist with area recommendations and reservations. To help keep information within your reach, wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel for a surcharge. While New York is the city that never sleeps, the Crowne Plaza has added a few thoughtful, in-room touches to help you rest. Aside from comfy beds with high-quality linens, other sleep aids include eye masks, lavender spray, and nightlights. Select floors offer an added haven from 9 PM to 10 AM, Sundays through Thursdays, when the hotel imposes a quiet zone to curb maintenance activities; children and groups are accommodated on other floors. Restful and stylish, the entire hotel (including all Hotel Rooms) received an $85 million makeover completed in December 2008.

| A short guide to Midtown |
|
Some of NYC’s best-known landmarks are north of 14th and south of 59th—or Midtown Manhattan. Here, couples kiss atop the Empire State Building. Grand Central Station’s opal-faced clock is a famed meeting spot. While fortunes are made on Wall Street, fortunes are spent at Fifth Avenue’s shops. Other highlights include Madison Square Garden, the United Nations, and the Garment and Diamond districts.
