Recent Days Newark Review: "We were only there for a night before catching our early flight home. The hotel was very clean. Our room was on the 5th floor- no cigarette smell at all. The room was very nice.
The prices in the vending machines were reasonable and we ordered a pizza for supper from their restaurant and it was very good.
The hotel's airport shuttle took us back and forth the times we needed to go. It was complimentary and round the clock. The staff was very helpful, patient and polite and answered all our questions about the surrounding area.
We didn't have a car, so our only complaint was that it wasn't close to a Wal-Mart and to get there was a little too much trouble.
We'll definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in the NY area, especially for the price."

| There was only one draw back. The coffee pot in the room did not work, and the coffee inthe lobby was gone at 6:30 am, there was no continential breakfast which would have been nice nut the coffee and tea was much more important |

| This is a decent hotel if you are visiting NYC for a small trip/vacation. The location of the hotel is good and travel time to NYC is 15 mins if there is no traffic in the tunnels. The rooms were clean and maintained. Parking is FREE. |

| The only trouble I had was finding it. They had road construction and the hotel was on the other side of the freeway. It took me about an hour to find out how to get to the otherside. They have roundabouts I just had to find the right one. Once I did then it was easy to get to and out of I spent most of my time in NYC which it was convienent to stay here |

| This was a decent hotel, well kept and right outside the airport, which was convinient for us. Getting good value food was a bit tricky since we arrived very late - the hotel restaurant was a bit expensive (and closed) and there are no diners outside and no walking back to the airport. Plan to eat at the airport. |

| First time in a Day's Hotel or any hotel at Newark Airport in fact. Location, Cleanliness and Price couldn't be beat. The room was comfortable and the alarm systems flawless. Shuttle to the airport was fast. Coming from the airport was less successful as you must wait for shuttle for 30 minutes unless you are lucky with your arrival time.
They have a decent restaurant in the lobby that's open for hot food until 10, and which can provide sandwiches and salads later than that. What more can you ask of a hotel that's not a destination resort? |

| Unfriendly front desk. Extra charges for breakfast. Noise making teenage girls in the passage-ways (got that fixed by telling the front desk). Furniture in the room was dated.
Rest all worked fine. Our goal was to stay as close to NY as possible, but at good price. This one did that. |
