| We liked the hotel very much, except for the elevators, which were slow and not totally dependable. Because, as I understand it, our room was "the" showcase of the hotel, it's hard to know what other other rooms were like, but ours was spectacular, and getting it was the luck of the draw. The bathroom was great, and this is always a determining issue for me: I don't like bad bathrooms!! It featured tall, tall ceilings, with very modern toilet and shower, and it was very clean. Hotel service was friendly and helpful. We'd not often stayed in this area of Manhattan, but it worked out well. |

| The Dylan was an okay hotel. I expected more from what I had heard about it.The rooms were very dark and the bathroom sink was tiny and there was no counterspace around the sink to put toiletries. The staff was nice. No one took up our bags. The location was the best part. |

| Our stay here was efficient and comfortable.
Unfortunately our last experience there was using their recommended car service to the airport.
The price was not clear as to what we were getting and the driver refused to take a credit card at the airport - not the professional service I would expect from a hotel of the Dylan's caliber. |

| Staff was very professional and helpful at all times. Room was clean and appointed well.
Room was extremely hot even when air was turned as low as possible. Light was not working in closet where coffee pot. was located. Therefore a mess was made when pouring water to make coffee. We had to locate in the linen closet additional soap and toliet paper on a regular bases.
There are too many hotels such as this one to choose from to stay there again. |

| The hotel was OK, I was honestly expecting a little better. Our room was on the 16th floor and HOT and smelly (restarurant aromas). If it did not have a window that opened there would have been no way we could have endured the room. The drain in the shower was clogged and so we both of us could not shower one after the other as the water would over flow. It took a good 16+ hours to get that fixed. |

| Hotel is in a great location and "fine". Nothing really wrong with it but typical small NYC rooms and nothing that special. Staff is great. Heat worked a little clumsily and I was warm but couldn't really regulate it to get "just right". |

| Torn carpet on front steps gives a bad first impression. Borker or loose drawer pulls, likewise, gave a boad impression. The bathroom was wonderfully clean. I question the carpet in the room as to cleanliness. |

| My room faced a brickwall...no view whatsoever. The housekeeping service was spotty. One day it was awesome, the next a dirty cleaning rag was left in my room. Location was great as it's right near Grand Central Station and every subway you could need. |

| We liked this hotel, from the Staff, to the room, to the location. Easy walk to Times Sq, but in a quiet area. The staff was amazing. The room was clean and quiet. Would go back!! The Benjamin Steakhouse was also amazing! |
