| I had to downgrade the comfort rating of the room, only because the mattress was like a concrete slab. I also gave a middling mark to the "surrounding neighborhood" question because the Financial District is pretty limited in its dining selections. But otherwise, I'd recommend the hotel. It's clean, the water pressure is there in the shower, and most of the furnishings, like the bureau and the desk, are inset, maximizing the space available to move around in. It's also convenient to the 2/3, 4/5, and R trains, making mobility around the city pretty simple. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. So, I'd say go for it! |

| Slight furnishings, needed paint, couldn't regulate heat/air, hotel staff very helpful and courteous. Overall -just ok even after free upgrade. |

| Trés agréable,
La chambre était sans prétention mais très confortable et très bien entretenue. Nous sommes restés du 8 au 14 février au moment le plus fort de la période froide en europe et nous n'avons pas ressenti le froid. Le service de chambre toujours propre et bienveillant mais surtout à notre écoute. La réception avait toujours réponse à tout et cherchait toujours à nous satisfaire notamment Taylor qui nous a accueilli le premier soir.
L'hôtel était stratégiquement bien situé car nous avions accès à tous les moyens de transport car très proche de Wall Street. Les commerces aux alentours à peine à quelques mètres pouvaient rester ouverts 24/24 h.
En résumé très agréable, je recommande donc même si ce n'est pas l'eurostars de Munich où nous avons également séjourné. Pour New York, les 4 étoiles sont méritées de loin par le service, par la situation géographique et je dirais moins par le cadre. |

| El Hotel ofrece un excelente servicio; las habitaciones son amplias y muy cómodas las estación de trenes esta solo a 4 minutos andando; el personal es muy atento. |

| Arrived to a friendly staff and was upgraded to a suite. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was excellent for me in lower Manhattan. It got a bit load at 5am as Manhattan came alive with trucks buses etc. My soundwave machine was a sleepsaver. I don't travel to urban hotels without it. Overall I had an excellent stay. |
