| I love this hotel. It is central to everything. You can walk to either Central Park or Riverside Park and there are lots of shopping and great restaurants. |

| ...no coffeemaker in room, no frig, no hot cups, and - what was REALLY irritating - having to pay $4.00 for a minimum Internet connection on the "hotel computer" to print out our boarding passes.
Frankly, for the sake of that $4.00, I would have rated the hotel higher.
Other than that, nice hotel, great workout equipment, convenient location. Would recommend. |

| My husband and I and our 2 young adult sons stayed in this hotel for 2 nights.This was the second year in a row that we chose The Excelsior Hotel. It is a great location for families. It is close to the museums and the park. The upper west side is family friendly. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel breakfast buffet is alright. Not great! You think it is costly at $17 per person but is not compared to the local restaurants. Everybody is New York friendly. The hotel is also close to the subway. All in all, it was a good trip. |

| I found the hotel delightful during my recent stay with my family. The staff were warm and helpful and went well beyond what I'm used to seeing in the larger multinational hotels. Quiet, well appointed with an excellent breakfast all at a very reasonable price. 15 minutes taxi ride to Times Square and the theatre district, 2 minutes walk to Central Park. I can recommend without reservation. |

| The only complaint was the AC unit in my room was quirky. The room always felt warm so we had to turn on the AC every once in while. However, after running it for about 15 minutes, the cold air would suddenly turn into hot air. It was a minor inconvenience we could live with given the weather outside. |

| Ons zakelijk verblijf hier in dit hotel was prima. Makkelijk bereikbaar per auto (!) en toch midden in de stad. Tegenover het hotel konden we voor 25 dollar per dag onze auto parkeren. Helaas geen gratis WIFI maar dat blijft nog altijd een dingetje in hotels. |

| Excellent hotel in a great neighborhood. Subway right next to hotel. Great restaurants in area. Hotel was very clean. The desk clerk when we registered was very distant and reserved. |

| Convenient location. Hotel was very nicely furnished. Room was bigger than other reviews led me to believe. Would have been nice to have coffe pot in the room. |

| Great location, wonderful staff, restaurant on site had tasty tapas and sangria.

| Staying at Excelcior Hotel with the family during winter holiday. The hotel really gives value for. It has a good location next to the Central Park. The hotel is very clean, so were the towels and the linen.
There is a complaint about the windows of the room, though. Coming from a country with three-glass windows as standard, the one layer windows give the feeling of draft. The air-conditioning / heater system in the room represents the "old school". The heater / air-conditioner is noisy and practically unuseable during the night. The night temperature in the room is thus dependent on the outside temperature.
Honestly we want to recommend Hotel Excelsior. |
