| Everything was perfect from our check-in to the comfort and quiet of the room to the excellent restaurant. We had dietary restrictions and they accommodated us perfectly. We will return. |

| Very friendly, young staff in a nice hotel that's not one of the giant chains. Room was small but when you come to NYC, chances are you're going to be in the room very briefly. Comfortable stay and reasonably priced. |

| I booked this hotel after reading the reviews on hotel.com and I was quite frankly underwhelmed by my entire experience. The hotel is nice but they put us in a room on the fourth floor with a view of nothing but other hotel windows and some cement (we were so tired by the time we checked in that we didn't have the heart to move). The room was a good size and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was also clean but the shower pressure almost skinned me alive! Do not order food from room service unless you are desperate. It is gross considering what you can get in NYC. Staff was okay but not incredibly helpful either. No atmosphere in the restaurant/bar either. New York is amazing though nonetheless! |

| If you don't mind front desk and room service that is a bit less than professional, the location is convenient and our room was both comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom; comfortable bed. On the plus side, they were very good about bringing a second robe to the room when asked; on the minus side, one expects the room service order to be taken by someone who says "yes" rather than "yeah" as you list the items you order - this is not McDonalds. One expects the front desk staff to focus on customers who are sitting at the desk before them, not shout over a cutomer's head to banter with someone else on staff. We dropped off a list of a couple of places we wanted them to research the address for, and an hour later they hadn't got around to it. Overall, the staff just didn't seem to have a commitment to the service excellence that you expect from a boutique hotel in a competitive city like NY. |

| Hotel was quaint. Rooms are small but that's NYC! Bar was small but bartender was great! Good location on Lexington. |

| I generally expect that hotels provide free internett access in 2012 . We don't live in the nineties anymore when this had the character of exclusivity and was expensive to offer.. |

| This was our first time staying in this hotel in NY and we thoroughly enjoyed it. From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were frieendly and very helpful. They recommended a lovely restaurent near the hotel, offered to print off our boarding passes as we were flying home the next day - and though there was an initial printer problem - they comppleted the task. Rooms were clean and comfortable and once we worked out the tricky lighting switches in the room it was very well lit. Lovely toiletries and the heating worked a treat - the room heated in minutes (we were staying in February & it was quite cold outside). Very quiet hotel. Would recommend it without hesitation and will definitely stay there again. It's close to all tourist attractions and central park which is always a bonus! Enjoy........ |
