| Bon emplacement. Hôtel minuscule. Chambre minuscule (la moins chère dans la gamme), sans placard de rangement ni commode, donc valise au sol sans possibilité de déballage. Mais lit phénoménal, draps hyper agréables, y retournerai rien que pour le lit. Salle de bains toute petite mais très bonne douche. Ne pas oublier d'apporter un bonnet de douche qui n'est pas fourni. Le séchoir à cheveux est minuscule. Le petit déjeuner est minimaliste, et la salle à manger minuscule. Personnel serviable et souriant. Disons qu'à Paris, cette chambre coûterait au maximum 120 Euros. A New York, elle coûte deux fois plus. |

| Toute petite chambre mangée par un grand lit, salle de bains liliputienne mais suffisante, pas de placard pour ranger ses habits. Convient pour un court séjour. Lit et draps extraordinairement confortables. Y retournerais rien que pour le lit et les draps! Petit dejeuner minimaliste. |

| Love the ambience of this little hotel. Stayed there 3 years ago and couldn't wait to get back. This time some of the polish had worn off (the furniture needed some sprucing up and the food served at the breakfast and cocktail hour had declined somewhat, but it was still enjoyable). The intimancy of the common rooms affords the opportunity to meet and chat with other guests from other lands. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I signed up to receive e-mail offers, but none have come so far. |

| We have stayed here many times, at different times of year. The staff are friendly and always very helpful.
Our family live nine blocks away and we are half way between them and the Museums and central Park.We like The Franklin because it has character. |

| This hotel is located right in the middle of the upper east side near numerous restaurants and about 5 minutes walk away from Central Park. The room we got was a small but it was very cozy and nicely decorated. |

| Quaint place in the upper east side convenient to the 4, 5, and 6 on 86th street. Very quite area, friendly staff, nice room with extremely comfortable bed. The only downfall is that there is no control of the heat and we had to use the AC in the dead of the winter. The Happy hour and breakfast pickings was more of a continental package cheese airport lounge kind of deal. |

| Hotel is conveniently located next to 86th street subway station (all trains stop) as well as central park. Generally service was very good, room was very tidy and breakfast ok.
On a negative side, room was very small and air conditioning wasn't working all that good. Breakfast was ok but nothing spectacular (limited selection).
Summary: small and cosy hotel. |

| The Franklin's strengths are an excellent location, convenient to the upper East side museums, a very comfortable bed, and good shower. However, the rooms are tiny and the carpets and general upkeep a little run-down, although everything seems to be impeccably clean. |

| We had a lovely time there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and neat. The breakfast was wonderful and the happy hour every day was just the right touch after site seeing. I can't wait to visit again. |
