| Creo que el costo para los visitantes que comparten habitación es buena por el costo. la ubicación del hotel es excelente, hay agua caliente, servicio de internet y resguardo de equipaje gratis que son necesidades básicas para el turista. Considero que solo falta mayor amabilidad en el servicio. Si vas realmente a conocer Nueva York en el lugar donde menos estarás será en el hotel. Suerte y buen viaje :) |

| Très bien situé, original avec ses expos d'art et concerts réguliers. A recommander à ceux qui recherchent un lieu pas très conventionnel et sans grand luxe. |

| I was a little hesitant to book a bed in a room with 5 other (unknown) guests, but my stay was enjoyable. The hotel is funky/shabby chic, but CLEAN and everything that counts (floors, bathrooms, furniture) is in very good condition. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the music playing downstairs. my ONE complaint (with two sub-complaints) was the bedding. I was aware from reading that towels were an extra charge, but there seems to be different opinions on sheets. I asked for sheets, blankets, and a pillow, and was told that they were included. They are, sort of. there is a fitted bottom sheet on the bunk beds, a pillow with clean pillow case, and a very old fuzzy rayon blanket- you know, the kind from the 80s? Comfortable enough, but I would have liked a top sheet. Next time, if I can, I'll bring my own.
Would I stay there again? Absolutely! |

| Es un hotel bien ubicado y tiene un precio cómodo. La única falla: en los baños solo hay jabón; que llevar demás elementos de aseo. |

| Room was small but clean. The shower was terrible, couldn't get a constant temperature. Although absolutely fine for what I paid. |

| RAS les dortoirs contiennent 8 bunkbeds séparés en 2 pièces qui communiquent , 1 salle de bain à partager. J'y suis resté 10 jours, et y ai passé un séjour super, prévoyez 1 taie d'oreiller et des boulles Quies ;-) |

| I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Manhattan. I walk by the Gershwin all of the time and the outside of the building always caught my eye. Very artsy. It also happens to be a great location. Saw a deal online and figured I'd give it a try. Deal turned out not to be worth it after the excessive taxes and miscellaneous surcharges added to the quoted price. The outside of the building and lobby were very nice. Rooms are old and dusty. They need to be upgraded. My girlfriend complained about the overpowering smell of bleach on the sheets(but at least we know they were clean). The art was nice but the stay was rather uncomfortable for the price. The water in the shower was scalding hot and there was no happy medium to shower in comfort. The service was not bad. I asked for a late check out and they had no problem with that. Not the worst place ever but don't think I'd stay again. I'd rather walk a few extra blocks and stay in a place that's more comfortable and up to date. |

| Old bldg...radiators...kind of drab hallway outside of room...internet challenged. But....very clean room and comfortable bed. Nice and helpful staff. |

| It is more a hostal than a hotel. It is ok after you forget minor inconveniences such as no towels or lockers to leave your things. It is affordable compared with other places and the location is close to 5th av. and Broadway although a little dark at night but feels safe around. |

| Vill du bo flådigt med med ypperlig service av portierer i pingvinkostymer kan du sluta läsa här. Ska du däremot till New York för att uppleva staden och vill bo på Manhattan till ett vettigt pris så är detta hotellet för dig.
Ett riktigt coolt hotel med en väldesignad och annorlunda fasad och lobby med bl.a Andy Warhol-konst. Läget är oöverträffat i midtown mitt emellan Empire state och Flatiron building Gångavstånd till Pennsylvania Station och Times Square. Det går inte att bo mer centralt än så här!
Visst.. rummen kanske det är dags att fräsha upp men det är inte så illa att det stör. Dock rekommenderas att välja ett rum mot innergården då fönstren inte är de mest ljudisolerade och ljudnivån i allmänhet(på staden) är ganska hög med tutande bilar och sirener. Öronproppar rekommenderas nattetid. Kvarteret i sig är dock lungt i allmänhet.
Restaurang på hotellet är inget vi saknade eftersom du har ett par tusen restauranger och deli´s inom 5 minuters gångavstånd. Finns dock ett cafe i anslutning till hotellet med gott kaffe och enklare mat. Personalen på hotellet(och caféet) är mycket trevlig och tiimötesgående. Det finns concierge-service som gärna hjälper till med bokninga av allt från biljetter till tåg/buss/evenemang/shower till tips på shopping etc.
Rumsmässigt rekommenderas Superior-rum. Namnet till trots så motsvarar det ett dubbelrum på Scandic dock mycket trendigare och med en stor portion NYC-känsla. Kvällstid när värmen går igång/ökar i elementen började det vissla i en liten ventil på ett rör i badrummet men detta löstes enkelt med en liten tejpbit/plåster över hålet. :-)
Det finns TV, strykjärn, AC, kassaskåp, hårtork, gratis WiFi och badrum med badkar och dusch, (även om det är näst intill omöjligt att ställa in och behålla en konstant temperatur på vattnet). Daglig städning av rummet ingår.
Kom ihåg att denna recension är baserad på att priserna per natt är under 1/2 priset du får betala på ett motsvarande hotell med samma läge. Lägg hellre dom p |
