Recent Herald Square Hotel Review: "We absolutely LOVED the Herald Square Hotel! I was looking for a "Budget" hotel since we were only staying for 1 night and didn't want to spend a fortune, and I have to say I was more than pleasantly surprized! Not only was the price terrific, but when we got there hours before normal check-in time we were given a room right away and upgraded to an even better room at no additional cost! The room was lovely, no tacky "hotel" art on the walls or groovy bedspreads. The room was plenty big for the 2 of us and all our stuff (not a huge room, but what do you expect in NYCrrr) and the queen size bed was sooo comfy! I read one review that said they didn't supply toiletries, but I always bring my own anyway so that didn't matter to me. They even have a really cute little "cafe" area in the lobby with a coffee bar where you can make all sorts of flavored coffee/tea/hot chocolate whenever you want. Just because this room didn't cost a fortune doesn't make it "Budget" in my book because as far as I'm concerned they didn't cut any corners on anything. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and would absolutely stay here again next time we come to NYC and will not hesitate to recommend it to any of my family and friends. Great job Herald Square Hotel!!!"
