Recent Hilton Garden Times Square Review: "I stayed at this hotel as part of a birthday present for my 19 yr old son....a trip to NY to see a Broadway show. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds for one night. The hotel's check in time is 3pm. We arrived at 2:45, and were told our room wasn't ready yet, and they offered us a room with 1 King bed instead. I told them this wouldn't work, as my son and I are not going to sleep in the same bed, and was told that our room would be ready in about 30 minutes. Since we were a little bit early, I didn't have a problem waiting, so we went into the lobby to sit and watch TV while waiting. An hour later, our 2 queen room was still not ready, and they didn't know when it would be. Again, I was offered a King room, but this time was told I'd be given an "upgrade", and there would be a pull-out sofa bed in the room. I reluctantly accepted, only to find the pull out sofa was actually a foam futon. My son took the futon, and we enjoyed the rest of our stay, But it would have been nice to get the room we actually reserved. Why bother with a reservation if they're not going to provide the room you reserver
Aside from the issue with the room, the hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and the location was very convenient to Times Square and the theatre district, lots of shopping and food options close by. And the garage next door offers parking for $30 a night, which is a very good rate in the city."

| Overview |
|
Featuring spacious Hotel Rooms renovated in 2008, Hilton Garden Inn Times Square has a reputation for excellent service and thoughtful, up-to-date amenities. A comfortable haven in the heart of Manhattan's Midtown, this stylish, modern hotel offers convenient access to top theaters and major attractions. Times Square and Broadway theaters are within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, and Radio City Music Hall is less than 10 minutes away. For upscale shopping, walk about a half-mile east of the hotel to Fifth Avenue, where you'll find the flagship Saks department store and a host of designer boutiques. If you prefer culture to couture, the world-famous Museum of Modern Art is less than a 15-minute walk from Hilton Garden Inn. Once you've worked up an appetite, take your pick from the diverse dining choices along Restaurant Row, just 2 blocks from the hotel. You don't have to venture beyond the hotel for a gourmet meal, though. Before heading out for an evening of music or theater, stop by Pigalle for dinner. This Parisian-style brasserie offers traditional French fare (be sure to save room for the crème brûlée). After the show, return to Pigalle's bar for a nightcap. And if you get late-night cravings, the 24-hour Pavilion Pantry in the lobby sells snacks, drinks, and ready-to-cook meals (easy to heat and store with Hotel Rooms microwaves and refrigerators). When the day is done, retreat to a spacious, modern Hotel Rooms. Squeeze in a last-minute workout with a complimentary Stay Fit Kit while you watch a movie on the flat-panel HDTV. Or finish up last-minute work with complimentary wireless and wired high-speed Internet access (you can even print remotely to the 24-hour business center at no charge).

| A short guide to Midtown |

Some of NYC’s best-known landmarks are north of 14th and south of 59th—or Midtown Manhattan. Here, couples kiss atop the Empire State Building. Grand Central Station’s opal-faced clock is a famed meeting spot. While fortunes are made on Wall Street, fortunes are spent at Fifth Avenue’s shops. Other highlights include Madison Square Garden, the United Nations, and the Garment and Diamond districts.

| A short guide to Broadway - Times Square |
|
Let the West Coast have Hollywood; Broadway’s lights are just as bright, and many screen actors come to the Great White Way to gain acting credibility. Area attractions include Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Resplendent St. Patrick’s Cathedral takes up a block at Fifth and 50th. Once seedy, Times Square now hosts ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.
