Recent Hilton New York Review: "This was the perfect place to stay. We brought our teenage daughter for four days and got the CityPass - conveniently located to all museum destinations and 30 Rock on CityPass and easy walk to bike rentals in Central Park. We saw one show and walked through Times Square, but preferred our location - not so crazy - and felt less like a tourist. Make  sure to upgrade to Executive Levels - free WiFi, breakfast, snacks, and non-alchol beverages - wonderful service and view from dining area. Very relaxing and saved us lots of money and time - as well as better views on higher floors. Would have to pay $5 for yogurt in cafe downstairs - upgrade paid for itself on first day. Definitely plan on getting there early or late on the weekends - can be a bit of a wait. Only hitch was that we had to request a roll-away and pay an extra $30 so our daughter had a place to sleep. She put it in the window alcove and had a pretty neat place to sleep - the windows even open a bit on the bottom - nice. Staff was courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and fair. We obviously were not the most important guests in the hotel, but they treated us just as though we were. Rooms were spacious for Manhattan and everything was in good working order. In-room safe and coffeemaker. Excellent pressure in shower. A tiny bit noisy, since we were on same floor as the Executive Lounge - but not too bothersome. If we were in one of the rooms next to the Lounge I can imagine that it would be a little intrusive at times. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

If you ate one too many Red Velvet Whoopie Pies in the café, head to Hilton's spacious fitness center (surcharge), where your room key grants you 24-hour access. Book a Pilates class or a session with a personal trainer, then relax in the sauna or indulge in an aromatherapy massage.

After a day of meetings, retreat to a spacious Hotel Rooms or suite with Hilton's luxurious Serenity Bed, featuring a pillowtop mattress and down duvet. A short guide to Midtown

Some of NYC’s best-known landmarks are north of 14th and south of 59th—or Midtown Manhattan. Here, couples kiss atop the Empire State Building. Grand Central Station’s opal-faced clock is a famed meeting spot. While fortunes are made on Wall Street, fortunes are spent at Fifth Avenue’s shops. Other highlights include Madison Square Garden, the United Nations, and the Garment and Diamond districts.

    Recreation

Let off some steam in Hilton's 8,000-square-foot fitness center (surcharge). Accessible 24 hours by room key, the skylit facility is equipped with free weights and strength-training and cardio machines. Need a little guidance? Personal training, yoga, and Pilates are available for an additional charge. Soothe sore muscles in the sauna, and then enjoy a massage in the fitness center or in the comfort of your Hotel Rooms.
