Recent Hotel Alexander Review: "Everyone was nice and very helpfull. They gave me suplies as i needed them like towels. Room is small like all NYC rooms but the bed is like a queen. Bathrooms are shared on the hallway, but there are 3 of them on each floor and they are very clean. The hotel is about 2 minutes (short block and a half) from subway station that gets you to 34st or Penn station in less than 7 minutes on the express train #1. Buses are about 5 minute walk (3 block away). I really liked the place. It's arround plenty of places to eat open till 2 am or later. Awesome food, friendly staff and breakfast was about $ 5.00. Buses come every 9 minutes and so is the subway. All arround I was pleased with the location and for 2 people it was worth the price."
