Recent Hotel Roger Williams Review: "I usually try to visit NY once a year but this is the first time I've stayed at the Rogers Williams. I've walked by the hotel before and thought that I'd like to stay there but it was a bit expensive for one person. Luckily, I got a deal online. This is a wonderful hotel. I don't know if it qualifies as a boutique hotel but it certainly felt like one.  The service was friendly and attentive. I never had to wait for assistance and everyone seemed eager to help. The room was lovely and spacious for a NY hotel room. I was concerned about visiting this year because of the bedbug media hype - well, my concerns were unfounded. I never saw any evidence of any bug of any sort and my room was very clean. My only complaint, and it's not really a big deal, is that my room was warm. The heat wasn't on but the room was hot. I mentioned it at the front desk and they said they would try to do something. I think they tried something, though I don't know what they could have done since the heat wasn't on but the room seemed a bit cooler on the subsequent days. It was still pretty warm but not unbearably hot as on the first day. Also, there was an attachment in the shower that didn't work but again no big deal. The only other thing was that the safety box was on a very high shelf in the closet and I had stand inside the closet to barely reach it. But it wasn't a big deal. I managed to stow my belongings without too much exertion. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to all my friends."

    A short guide to Midtown

Other highlights include Madison Square Garden, the United Nations, and the Garment and Diamond districts.

    Recreation

Open 24 hours a day, the wood-paneled fitness center is outfitted with cardio machines, free weights, and wall-mounted TVs. Fresh towels are provided. Peer out the windows for views of Madison Avenue.
