Recent Hotel Wales Review: "I had always wanted to stay at this hotel ever since friends had stayed here years ago. I was not disappointed. I was in New York for a weekend birthday party that was being held a bit further uptown. My room was lovely, quiet and had ample storage space. My only complaint was that I could not control the heat. The room was quite warm and I ended up  opening the window in the bedroom and the window in the bathroom to let in some cold air. I checked out the roof terrace and it looked inviting, but I did not use it because I was there in January and the terrace was filled with snow. The mezzanine where breakfast is served is a lovely, large room with great views of the surrounding neighborhood. And what a neighborhood it is: one block off of Central Park, near numerous museums and surrounded by great small shops and restaurants. i will stay here again if the occasion arises."

Paola's celebrates traditional Italian dishes with creative flair--and the ravioli is not to be missed. Stop for a pick-me-up at The Juicy Naam, where you can snack healthily from a menu of smoothies and raw and vegan dishes.

Choose from dishes like chicken pot pie, smoked-salmon potato pancakes, and pistachio-coated halibut. You can also stop by for a quick coffee or dessert. Open 8 AM - 11 PM Monday - Saturday, and 8 AM - 9:30 PM Sunday.

Paola's - At this well-regarded restaurant, you can create your own Italian feast from a menu featuring antipasti, pasta, and entrees. Dine on mussels in creamy mustard sauce, followed by ravioli di asparagi. Dinner only. Open 5 - 10 PM Sunday and Monday, and 5 PM - 11 PM Tuesday through Saturday.

The Juicy Naam - Dine healthily for breakfast and lunch. Juicy Naam's menu is diverse, with a variety of exotic juice blends, vegan and raw options, and smoothies. Open 8 AM - 2 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8 AM - 4 PM Friday through Sunday.
