I took my mom to NYC for a weekend getaway and she really felt pampered. The room was quite modern and the quality of the furnishings was quite impressive. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The location was awesome, we were close to everything and had a great nights sleep! Our 24 hours in New York City was excellent! :)

The hotel was clean, it was in a great location, BUT! The shower didn't work, and the tub is very small. I had to take a bath and I barely fit in the tub. I'm only 5'2" and I'm far from over weight, basically I'm a small person and I barely fit in the tub. When I checked out that morning I mentioned how the shower head didn't work and the clerk said, "Oh, were you the woman who called this morning?" I was not the woman who called that morning, which meant more then one shower didn't work. It was a great hotel for a weekend getaway, but if you're staying longer I would upgrade the room.

like a standard days inn type of thing. small room (of course, it's new york) but i was looking for something affordable and it is ! clean, which is important, but i couldn't seem to get the temperature during the night and the pillows were not the most comfortable.
