Ligger bra sentralt til på Madison Av. og det er ingen ting å sei på nabolaget. Rommet var reint men ikkje spesielt stort. Litt for lite lys på rommet, ganske mørkt faktisk. AC var veldig bråkete og umulig å sove med om natta. Dyr frukost, gå ein anna plass. Og Wifi var ikkje gratis. Alt i alt ein ok opplevelse men ikkje meir enn det. Greit nok i forhold  til pris.

Rigtig fint hotel til prisen. Vi boede på standard værelse med kingsize bed. Værelset var lidt lille, men lå ud til gaden med fin udsigt til Empire. Der var dog lidt larm fra gaden, men det kan vist ikke undgås, hvis man vil bo i NY centrum. Det var i gåafstand fra Central Station, 5th Avenue, 34th Street mm. Lige overfor lå en udemærket Dinner med  et varieret menukort til alles smag. I nogle af de andre bedømmelser stod der at receptionspersonalet ikke var hjælpsomme, men det oplevede vi ikke, tværtimod. De var flinke, servicemindede og smilende. Jeg kan kun anbefale hotellet til andre og vil også selv komme igen.

Kan anbefale dette hotellet! Sentral beliggenhet på Manhattan. Vi sov godt om natten, ingen trafikkstøy som forstyrret. Flere gode spisesteder i nærheten som vi brukte, for vi hadde ingen måltider på hotellet.

The type of room we requested was not available so we were upgraded to a suite at no additional charge. The room was neat and clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and positive every time I dealt with them. I travel to NYC on a regular basis and have paid a lot more money for rooms of much lesser quality.

The hotel has changed ownership from italian chaion to Spanish owners. There is no coffee service in the mezzanine any longer, no small breakfast which used to be included in room rate, and when I needed my boarding pass, they told me to go to Staples across the street. They were not able to print anything for me. Staples opened at 11 that day and I  had to leave for the airport earlier. There was no extra quilt or blanket for the bed, and one of the elevators seemed to be not [properly working as made strange noises and movements on the way up and down. I am not sure i would stay there again.

good place to stay but the mini bar was empty and when I asked the attendant he told me to go to the corner store, no nice but is a very good hotel nice cozy rooms very comfortable amazing bathrooms and very clean.

Nice room. Clean. Good Location. However, you do get a hotel room to sleep and that was not possible, my husband and I slept 4 hours max because there was very loud noise in the pipes (I understand from friends that in New York this happens a lot in the winter months due to heating). Though we reported this issue twice in the middle of the night.The  hotel service was not very responsive, we got a later checkout after twisting the front desk's arm, but no offer of another room the night itself which might have been appropriate.

I will definately be back to stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean & reasonably roomy... Total value for money! Highly recommend this hotel at NYC!

This was my second time in New York and we picked this hotel because the price was in my budget. This hotel has the best location because it's 4 blocks away from Grand Central. The only thing that worried me was when I read the reviews is talked about having trouble with the air and the front desk being rude. Well, most of that is true. The night clerk  was super and very good with checking us in and was very pleasant to work with. I wish I can say the same for the day shift. The front desk in the morning wasn't very nice and very rude and abrupt when questions were asked about receipts, directions, ect. In our room the air hardly worked at all. Thank God we are on the 12th and we could open the window and the cold air cooled of the room, but even it being in the low 40's is still would got warm. The heat worked great and you had to warm up the room it wouldn't take long. Also, our room was very, very small but if you only have two people it's really perfect. The best thing about this hotel is a great location and the bathroom was very nice. All in all, I would stay here again but I would make sure it's the winter!

I came to New York on Jan 12 of 19 days, I selected Jolly Hotel because it is closed my school. I went to NY for short course and traveling. Finaly, I found the location of this hotel is very good, it is very close the Grand Central and the library. And it is easy to go to 5 Ave. I knew this hotel is very old, but it looks clean and nice. Just the price  is a little bit high! And I don't prefer they will charge us the local call fee during I check out..
