Recent Laguardia Airport Hotel Review: "My daughter and I flew into the NYC metro area for a weekend stay Memorial Day weekend. I must say I was extremely impressed with our experience at the LaGuardia Airport Hotel. My flight arrived early but regardless of that, my room was ready 3 hours before check in and I was allowed to enter it early. I requested a room facing the front of the hotel  b/c I was concerned with the noise from airplanes since I was travelling with a six year old. Not only did I get exactly what I asked for, we heard absolutely NOTHING!! No planes, no cars, nothing! Only the white noise fo the air conditioning system. On our 2nd night, the air conditioning broke. I called the front desk and I was immediately helped by a very gracious receptionist who told me as soon as the engineer arrived she would send him up. I also let the housekeeper know about the situation and she went above and beyond to help in this matter. As soon as the engineer arrived, he fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. Our rooms were kept fresh and clean every day we were there with fresh linens and towels. Our housekeeper was excellent. We didn'y have dinner at the hotel even though it's available, but we did enjoy the complimentary continental breakfast every morning of our stay. This was my daughter's favorite part! We had so much to choose from; Croissants, bagels, toasts, danishes, nut breads, muffins, all sorts of cereals, 3 kinds of juices, a carafe of coffee, friendly wait staff and excellent breakfast hours we couldn't have asked for more! They have excellent checkout times as well and were not tricky with adding extra fees! I paid beforehand and when I went to check out she said "you are all paid for let me call the shuttle service for you." The shuttle service was a lifesaver for us as I was going into the city every day and the shuttle provided access to the M60 bus, other buses as well as all airlines.
