Recent Le Parker Meridien Review: "Le Parker Meridien is one of New York City's modern luxury hotels and just what you would expect for the price and location. It is worth it. It is a treat for those travelers who value their hotel stay as much as touring the surrounding city. The first impression I got from the hotel is it's location on 57th Street between 7th Avenue and Avenue of the Americas. While the location is just above Times Square by several blocks, it is far enough away from the chaos and crowds to feel a great contrast when heading back to the hotel for a "noise break". Fifth Avenue and Central Park are only a few blocks in the other direction. This hotel is much more than just clean! The king bed single room was large as far as single rooms go. The breakfast, priced at the average for a room service breakfast, was a large, American-style breakfast that might leave some European visitors quite full for several hours. The indoor pool was clean and had a great view of the surrounding area, including some of Central Park. Within the room there is a large, somewhat older television with DVD and VHS players, contained in a stylish rotatable entertainment column. It was easy to get around the television menus to make selections from hotel services to free cable TV. I felt that even one night at Le Parker Meridien would make an excellent gift, even for a New Yorker, or a booking bound to impress a business client. It is the I will stay here again."
