Recent Manhattan Times Square Review: "This trip was my first stay at The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased. First, the location is great. It is within easy walking distance of Broadway shows and all of the other attractions of the Times Square area. The hotel is modern and clean. I was pleased with the size of my room. The price I got through hotel.com  was substantially less than comparable area hotels of the same quality. It is a large hotel (I stayed on the 20th floor) which means large groups arriving and competition for the free computer stations. For the most part, the staff handled the chaos well. I did not try the hotel restaurant (would rather eat cheaply and/or explore), but the fact that the hotel has a pool is a rare NYC amenity. Overall, the hotel was modern and well-maintained, consistent with the quality you'd expect from a Starwood property. I'll be looking at this hotel for future NYC trips."
