Recent Marriott Marquis Review: "This is a Really nice and Big hotel. The cheking is at the 8th floor. The staff are polite and they keep your bags for you if you arrive really early like I did. I stay in a room that call's "Corner king" at 15th floor. Those rooms are larger then the others. My room was very clean with a very confortable bed whith a elegant and soft linnens. My room have a living area with a sofa, table and chairs. Very confortable and spacious for NYC.The view for the Times Square was fantastic and even beeing on the heart of Time Square you can't hear the noise in your room. It is a little bit price, but if you are plaining to go to the brodway shows this hotel is in the midle of all theatres. This is a very busy Hotel with people everywhere.Below the hotel have a box office tha sells tickets with 50%off discount for all the Brodway shows. The shows price are average $65.00 per head what makes this hotel even more busy because of the big lines around the hotel that people makes to buy those tickets.I have already watched several plays in NYC and the best in my opinion is "THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA". IT IS FAR THE BEST SHOW ON BRODWAY(It is so beutfull that will make you cry). The Marriot Marquis is the place to be if you want to stay in the midle of the action and with people everywhere. But if you are planning a relaxing and a Romantic vacation I would recommend for the same price to stay in a hotelin The Central Park. The hotel's over there are more tranquill and Romantic. And you will have the view of the Park and the carrige rides that is so Romantic. A feelTips if you stay at the Marriot: Don't eat at the hotel it is very spencive and you have everything whithin a walking distance. A Half block from the Hotel on 44th St.have THE BEST restaurant named "CARMINES. The food is the best and the portions are really "HUGE"(1 plate can feed 4 people( I'm not kidding).Try it the "Penne a La Vodka" and they big Cosmopolitan drinks. It just delicious. The entrees prices for dinner is around $28.0"

Some of NYC’s best-known landmarks are north of 14th and south of 59th—or Midtown Manhattan. Here, couples kiss atop the Empire State Building. Grand Central Station’s opal-faced clock is a famed meeting spot. While fortunes are made on Wall Street, fortunes are spent at Fifth Avenue’s shops.
