MIDTOWN
In addition to being New York's largest business district, Midtown
also houses the majority of hotels in Manhattan. With so many places to
choose from, this is where you'll typically find the most affordable
rates. Although Midtown is known mostly for its commerce, there are
plenty of other reasons to visit this section of Manhattan.
MIDTOWN EAST
Defined as the area from 36th Street to 59th Street (East of 5th Avenue), Midtown East has many special attractions worth seeing:
- The Empire State Building
- Grand Central Station
- Tiffany & Co.
- Bergdorf Goodman
- Barneys New York
- Sax Fifth Avenue
- FAO Schwarz Toy Store
- Central Park South (great for Pony rides through the Park)
- The UNITED NATIONS
