Recent New Palace Review: "The New York Palace is an awesome hotel and i'm so glad i chose this hotel amongst others. The hotel was beautiful. My room was clean, comfortable, and spacious...a lot bigger than the standard NY hotel room. The location of the hotel is undeniably convenient- smack dab in the center of every attractions you can think of like central park, time square, broadway theaters, etc... Upon checking in i had requested for 2 double beds. The receptionist assigned me to a standard room that i had booked but the room was not what i had requested. It had one king size bed instead. When i brought it to her attention she apologized saying their computer system was not updated correctly and offered to upgrade my room to the west side with the view of St. Patrick's Cathedral at no additional charge. Now that's what i call great customer service! The view was superb!!! I would not trade up this hotel for any other, even if i could afford to stay at The Plaza or St. Regis. The value you get for the price you pay at the NY Palace is incomparable to the other high end hotels. This was definitely a fabulous treat and a smart move on my end!"

| It's a great hotel. Quite large, but that doesn't seem to take away from it. Beds are very comfortable, staff nice and helpful. The rooms are very large which in my experience is unusual in NYC. Overall, a very nice hotel. We've stayed there many times and will continue to do so. |

| I enjoyed the accommodations and the professionalism of the staff. I always felt cared for and valued as a patron.
The location was convenient to great shopping and dining. Only two blocks from Rockefeller Plaza. Have to walk a couple blocks to any subway station.
Only one complaint: We attempted to eat in the upscale dinner restaurant, but discovered it is closed Sundays/Mondays. Something we must have missed when they were telling us dining options at check in. We stood in the bar at the maitre d's stand for several minutes before any of the staff (who were standing at the bar, but not clearly identified) responded to us and explained that the restaurant was closed. Also, the bar served patrons who were not appropriately attired for such a fine establishment. |

| When I called down to the front desk to ask for hypoallergenic pillows (I am allergic to goose down), I was told that the hotel wasn't sure if there were any left and that it might take over an hour to get them to my room. Surely a hotel the size of the Palace has enough non-goose down pillows to go around. |

| Hotel was great, other than being forced to upgrade my room upon arrival because "my reservation didnt call for 2 beds" the hotel was very nice. Staff was very curteous and helpful. I will however say that everything in the hotel was ridculously priced. . Bring alot of cash with you or prepare to find other places to eat on your trip! |

| We were there for a birthday weekend.
Very convenient to midtown.
All that is expected although the public area is not that large to lounge in. Restaurant Gilt was fabulous with wonderful food and perfect service. Room on 25h floor facing St. Patricks had an ideal view. Rooms comfortably roomy, but not spcious. |

| The Palace is a beautiful hotel in a great location (a good distance from the hustle and bustle of Times Square).. The west-side rooms overlook St. Patrick's Cathedral, which is stunning, and it's just a short distance to Central Park. Hotel staff is courteous and helpful. |

| This hotel was a great choice for our short stay in Manhattan and our need to be close to other family members staying in nearby hotels. The NYP was very centrally located near shopping, restaurants, and Rockefeller Center. We walked or took taxis everywhere, and never had a problem with either mode of getting around town. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those with an infant. |
