| El New York Hemsley Hotel se encuentra convenientemente situado a dos calles de la estación Grand Central y a un bloque del Chrysler Building. Parece renovado muy recientemente y la habitación en la que dormimos fue muy cómoda y amplia. El baño también era amplio y cómodo. A pesar de encontrarnos en el piso 18, llegaba algo de ruido de la calle, pero pudimos descansar bien. Es una pena no haber podido pasar mas noches alojados. El personal de recepción fue amable y servicial y el Check-out fue muy rápido. El hotel es una muy buena opción de alojamiento si se encuentra una tarifa decente. |

| The hotel is obviously under renovation/construction. Most of the amenities are closed and the staff was more on the rude side. But our room was AMAZING for the price that we paid. It was clean and comfortable with a great view of manhattan. Location is perfect...but you will be woken up by contruction. Get this room if you are in NYC for vacation and will not be spending much time in the hotel. |

| Das renovierte Premium-Zimmer in den Farben grün, schwarz und weiß auf der 36.Etage bot einen spektakulären Blick auf das Empire State Building und das Chyisler Building. Im Vergleich zu europäischen Hotels ist es nicht sonderlich groß aber doch ausreichend dimensioniert. Die Fenster sind zwar nur einfach verglast aber wegen der Etagenhöhe hält sich der Lärm des Straßenverkehrs in durchaus erträglichen Grenzen zumal das Zimmer auf der Hinterseite des Hotels liegt. Die sanitären Apparaturen im Badezimmer sind leider die gleichen wie in den noch unrenovierten Zimmern des Hotels. Einzig die Wandbekleidung beim Waschbecken, der Spiegel und die Beleuchtung wurden erneuert. Das Programmangebot auf dem großen Fernseher ist nicht auf ein internationales Publikum ausgerichtet. Deutsche und französische Programme sucht man vergebens. |

| The lighting was terrible on the desk. There were no plugs for my computer and phone. At one point none of the elevators worked. I have stayed at your sister hotel and will stay there again. Nicer rooms, better lighting and plugs. |

| The hotel is in a nice location, and clean enough but does not ressemble the pictures on the website we saw. It is undergoing renovations and I think the online pics were more of an impression of what it will be like. We were told we were given a room upgrade but I'd hate to have seen the room we would have had.
That said the staff were very helpful and they gave us a late check out on the Sunday and it was perfectly acceptable, but not quite the luxury hotel we were expecting. |
