| Placeringen er det vigtigeste ved dette hotel. Ligger lige ved metro, nabolag, hvor priserne er bedre end inde i byen - og det her går amerikanerne selv, hvilket går resturanterne meget personlige. |

| Uitstekend hotel voor een stadsvakantie, verwacht natuurlijk geen grote luxe (ons raam zag uit op 2 muren), maar voor de rest is alles zeker aanwezig (nette badkamer, kamers worden elke dag gekuist, handdoeken ververst, enz). Op slecht een kwartier, twintig minuten wandelen van times square en met de metro vlakbij nog geen vijf minuten ( twee haltes). Kortom goede prijs/kwaliteit. |

| This charming hotel is conveniently located on the UWS just 2.5 blocks away from NYC's backyard--Central Park. The subway system (trains 1, 2, and 3) are just steps away and ready to take you anywhere in Manhattan. Our room was very quiet, clean, and furnished with a refrigerator and microwave. Duane Reade, Walgreens, and CVS are conveniently steps away ready to stock that fridge. The ONLY complaint I have was the single slow elevator. And I mean slow. But that's a small price to pay compared to the value and convenience offered by this hotel. I plan to return. |

| Relativ kleines Hotel. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Das Zimmer immer sauber und das Bad auch. Kein Schimmel. Mikrowelle und Kühlschrank vorhanden, allerdings ist der Kühlschrank relativ laut. Wir waren im 2 Stock und das Fenster zum Hinterhof, somit sehr dunkel und der Hinterhof nicht gerade einladend aber es lag kein Dreck herum. Koffer kann man in einen Safe geben ist aber relativ teuer (5 US-Doller). Frühstückscafes, Supermarkt, Drogerie - eigentlich alle Läden in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Typisch New York. Mit der Schnellbahn innerhalb 10 Minuten in Manhatten. Dieses Hotel kann man nur weiterempfehlen. |

| This hotel was great. It wasn't particularly fancy, but the staff was very nice. The best thing about the hotel was its location. The subway is practically right outside the hotel, a few steps away. There in NO air conditioning, so if you are used to it, probably not the place for you. It was clean, nice staff, tiny elevator, mostly used the stairs to avoid the wait, a few sketchy characters in the neighborhood at night, but overall a great place to stay, but not in the summer with no a/c...we will stay there again. The price was RIGHT. |

| I stayed there for one night and it was a good location for a 2 day trip to New York. Room was clean and I had a good night. |

| Trés bon hotel, trés bonne qualité / prix.
Nous avions une chambre double avec tout le confort. Certes elle n'est pas très grande mais bon ce n'est pas important.. Il y avait tout ce qu'il fallait : four à microonde, cafetiere, sèche cheveux, frigo ... C'était trés silencieux. La statiion de métro est juste en bas de l'hotel et il y a un restaurant juste à coté qui propose de délicieux petit déjeuner !
Je recommande sans hésiter ! |

| Hotel Newton was nicely decorated and seemed scrupulously clean. Sharing the bathroom (1 single-use for several rooms) was not inconvenient, as I originally thought it might be. Location was easy to get to. Rooms are kinda tiny, but it's New York. Comfortable enough. The cleanliness was what impressed me. Now if only the price tag were a little lower, but after shopping around, it seems a reasonable price for New York. |
