Recent Park Central Review: "(Traveller from Wash DC. Opinion: rating on 1-10, it's a 9") Not supposed to discuss charges or fees, so do your best with my description... PC Hotel location is very convenient (walking distance) to everything (about 1/2 way between Central Park and Times Square). Subway stations very close by. Non-intuitive arangement/location of hotel elevators,  but we figured it out. Signs to elevators would be helpful. We took 2 adjacent non-smoking rooms. Although stench of cigarette smoke was strong in the hallway leading to those rooms, in the room, there was no smell. Each room was average-to-smallish size, but very comfortable and well maintained/clean. Dismayed that extra charge for connecting to their internet or Wi-Fi (three Lincolns extra). No wash cloths, but plenty of fresh (no smell) bath towels, hand towels, and bath mat. Only found "facial soap bars (mini-pucks)" for showering (not liquid body-wash/gel). Shampoo smells like strong citrus (and peppermintr) candy. Bring your own body wash and shampoo if those are issues for you. Overall, it was quiet enough for me, a very light sleeper. Could not hear guests in other rooms through the walls. Only occasionally heard vehicle traffic from inside my room window. Comfortable beds and clean linens, no sign of bedbugs. Check out was at noon, but at around 8 AM housekeeping staff made loud noises in halls, banging doors, and calling out to eachother. (Not happy about that). Left a Lincoln bill for each/room tip anyway! Front desk very polite, professionally-presentable, welcoming, informative, and efficient (despite some staff obviously working double-shifts). Kudos to all those folks for their professionalism. It's a Grant (ten Lincolns) for parking for 24 hrs (valet) from the front of the hotel... there, too, valet signs would be helpful. Checked out at 10 AM and considered leaving valises in hotel storage (just under a Lincoln per bag for temporary storage) while touring on foot, but took bags to car/garage instead. In t"
