| A fantastic hotel with excellent personal service, great location and rooms with very good standard. Me and my wife had a very good time during a short week-end staying at this hotel. Worth every penny! |

| 出張で数泊。中層階、シティビューの部屋。50㎡程度（？）とちょっと狭め。リクエストどおりのキングサイズベッドは快適。バスルーム狭く、特にトイレと洗面台近すぎ。直してはあるが、いかんせん建物古くドアにも大きな隙間、隣の気配もよく伝わる。日経は別料金、朝食もメインダイニングで別料金。
見るところかなりのunderstaffing。到着時にドアマン居らず、ドライバー呼びにやる。ドアマンとベルマンとの連携もなく、荷物はレセプションに放置。所詮ピギーゆえ面倒なので自分で転がして部屋へ。レセプションの慇懃な対応は昔どおり、またエレベーターを人が操作するあたりも変わらず。但し、bultlerっぽい爺さまやいかにものboy君からfriendlyな兄さん、オリエンタルな姉さんに代わり、かつてのエレガンスとディシプリンはno longer seen.
翌日買い物から帰り、ホテルに到着。ドアマンすかさず、荷物を車から降ろしたところまではよし。部屋に戻ると電話、曰く「ベルマンが忙しく荷物はちょっと待ってもらいたし」。平日午後３時で混む頃合いになく、到着時といい今日といいベルマンは何人も居ない??? Good newsは週末。「小一時間外出するので、部屋の掃除とベッドメイクをお願いしたい」。これにはキッチリ対応。
聞けば2005年にフォーシーズンズからタージにオペレータが変更となった由。コストカットとベテランスタッフの退職が進んだ感あり。またTV、ネット環境も調子は今一つ。ちなみにネットは別料金。また外出を苦にしなければ敢えて選択する意義は少ないが、ルームサービス、メインダイニングとも食事の質はまあまあ。コンシェルジェの威力は定評あり、一部に残るスタッフに負けないくらいエレガントに滞在出来るほどのディープポケットで高層階の広い部屋にゆったり連泊する旅路ならかなり使いでがあるのかもしれません。
私のような普通のビジネスマンの短期出張には??? |

| 4回目のNYで7泊しました。
今回は仕事と主に美術＆ミュージカル鑑賞でしたが、全てにおいてのアクセスも問題なく、スタッフ特にホテルの顔のドアマン達が素晴らしい。
特筆すべきはベッドの寝心地の良さと他の宿泊客の雰囲気。
個人的には、お向かいの最近のプラザより良い気がします。 |

| Incredible three days, in spite of being in one of the most simple rooms.
I have found my hotel for future trips to NYC.
If you can afford it, don't doubt ot. |

| Amazing grand old hotel. Very friendly staff, quality service. Though $17 for a bowl of cereal is a little much. So lots of excellent restaurants within a 2 block radius that don't break the bank. |
