Recent Ramada Newark Intl Review: "I was really impressed with the quality of the hotel. I had never been to New Jersey before, and had only heard negative remarks about the city. After driving for about 8 hours it was a huge relief to pull-up and see a clean and nicely manicured hotel. After pulling a ticket to be able to park in the lot (up to 1/2 hour - free; $5 for longer & $15 overnight)we proceeded to check-in. The lobby was very nice and hospitable looking. I felt very comfortable there and I have worked at 4-star hotels before. We checked in at 3pm exactly it was smooth, it only took 5 minutes . When we got to the room it exceeded my expectations for the price. Very clean, presentable, and quiet for the size of the hotel. My children ordered pizza from the deli in the lobby which they enjoyed, and the price was appropriate. All in all I felt safe happy to be here there were no surprises. The attitudes of the employees were kind of rude, but then again what do you expect for the area. Transportation to the city(NY), was a breeze. We asked the front desk agent he said drive to Penn Station NJ and the New Jersey Transit will take you to Penn Station New York the round trip tickets were $7.00 for each person if you don't mind taking the subway. It was fun exciting and a cultural experience."

| I needed a room near Newark Airport and the train station and came across this great rate for my long weekend trip. The shuttle was always there and the desk did a fantastic job getting a room ready when I showed up early. The bathroom wasn't spotless and the room was bare bones - no hotel info or channel guide, no pen or paper, and the TV remote was iffy. Great view out the window of the prison exercise yard next door! But the shower was hot, the A/C was cold, the sheets looked clean and the bed was comfortable. |

| The hotel charges $15 per day for parking. The area roads are confusing and it is a bit difficult to find. We only spent one night to catch a flight out the next morning. One bed was soft the other mattress was super hard and uncomfortable. |

| The hotel was decent and in a decent area...you get what you pay for. The front desk staff could be friendlier...they should at least pretend to care for their hotel guests (one in particular). It has a 24-hour cafe which is convenient and a restaurant with good food. The room was okay, it served its purpose. Their 24-hour shuttle was also very convenient. It's close to NYC and there are many ways to get there for cheap although they are time consuming. We've already agreed that next time we're going to dish out extra money and stay in the City. Overall the hotel was average and I would recommend it for short stays only. |
