| Average hotel, not worth the hype surrounding it. Rooms were clean, but as expected a little small. Also, the rooms were a little out-dated. Lobby bar not worth hanging out in. decent SOHO location giving you either the Tribeca or SOHO areas to play in. Staff was very nice and professional. |

| Först och främst skall personalen i hotellreceptionen berömmas då de är mycket servicemindiga och löste alla våra önskemål. Vi var först inte nöjda med vårt rum och de placerade oss direkt i ett rum högre upp som bättre motsvarade de "NYC views" som den typ av rum vi hyrde hade marknadsförts under. Standarden på rummen är bra och rena. Läget på hotellet är helt fantastiskt med närheten till några av de absolut mest charmiga kvarteren i NYC.
Den enda plumpen är den otroligt långsamma serveringen i loungen (frukost och lunch). Det tog en enorm tid vid samtliga tillfällen utom sista dagen. |

| This hotel was disgustingly cool. So cool that they don't even have signs to indicate where the elevator, lobby or front desk are. The air conditioner was leaking in our room when we got in, not something that would really necessitate a room change, but they not only changed our room but gave us an upgrade as well as free dinner vouchers for the hotel lounge. The staff was super accommodating and really really nice. The lounge is very stylish and there are super cool dog statues all over. Overall, the hotel was physically comfortable but I spent the majority of my time there uncomfortably insecure and generally feeling unworthy. This is a place for the rich and hip. It doesn't hurt that it's smack-dab in the center of soho, where not-worthiness is a common feeling everywhere. It's an experience for sure. |

| My wife and I had a great experience at the SoHo Grand. The Lobby was ulta- cool with an old New York gothic feel. The out door bar/restaurant was a very cool addition and a great hang out spot. The room was very clean with a great view. The decor of the room was not as inspired and unique as the rest of the hotel, but still nice. The concierge was prompt and responsive to our needs. We were literally amazed when we requested a blow dryer and there was someone knocking at door within 1-2 minutes. |

| After reading a few negative reviews online, we were a bit hesitant to stay here. No worries. Our room was impeccably clean and stylish. I am still dreaming about our sumptuous bed and bedding. The location is great and the staff could not have been friendlier. |

| We enjoyed our stay very much. SoHo is a great place to eat, visit galleries, and shop. I felt that the hotel hallways had a stale odor--not unpleasant, but stale. Perhaps some Fabreeze or carpet deodorizer would have helped. The lobby area and hallways were dimly lit--ambiance??? A little more light wouldn't have hurt. The bar was nice and great for people watching, however we were dissatisfied with the outdoor bar. There weren't any tables in the bar area and the host suggested the outdoor one. We were disappointed when the host of the outdoor bar told us that it was "closed for a private party," only to find that the indoor bar host told us that wasn't the case. "Sometimes they say that if they sense people aren't hotel guests," was what the indoor host told us when we returned. The outdoor host never asked, nor did we think that we needed to have mentioned it. All ended up being fine because a table opened up at the indoor bar when we had returned there. There should be better communication amongst the staff, or a way that they could communicate without guests having to go up/down and in/out of the hotel to get a drink. |
