Location and staff were perfect. However...
We stayed in Room 7E. Although the room was acceptable it needed some redoing. It's very dull in appearance. The bathroom needs the most attention. Exposed pipes under the sink make it too easy to see the poor wall surfaces. Do they need repainting and patching. Do they need wall paper covering. I'm not sure, but I don't have the feeling of upscale that I would hope to have.

Competitively priced NYC hotel in a plush neighborhood, Exhale Spa around the corner, ask to be on a floor higher then the 3rd floor if you get the king suite due to a VERY noisy building compressor outside the 3rd floor window.
