Recent Tribeca Grand Hotel Review: "I arrived VERY early and the room wasn't ready but the staff was so friendly and helpful that I felt like a guest before I was even checked in. "Benjamin" came out to my car to take my luggage so I could park the car, and then when it took a little longer than expected (I found a less expensive lot further away) he told me he was worried about me since  he expected me back sooner! Although I put the address in my nav system, there is not a clear sign with the name and I passed the hotel the first time, but I called and was directed around the block again easily. (The name is on the clock in front of the hotel). They stored my luggage, and I enjoyed the neighborhood - easy walking to the subway, SOHO, Chinatown, and Wall Street. When I returned, my daughter needed a print out of her resume, which they did for me at the desk, downloading and printing. No charge and I esp appreciated their help since I am computer challenged. My husband had overnight dry cleaning sent out and it was ready earlier than promised the next morning. I looked in on the fitness room, and the meeting rooms, etc. downstairs and they looked very nice. I was only sorry we didn't have time to have a drink in the bar... it had a good atmosphere. The bathrooms are a bit dark- institutional type stainless steal...and I wish the AC could be made cooler (could not set lower than 70) but our room was exacatly what we requested--a lower floor which is not always "prime" location but we were very satisfied. Tribecca Grand is a place that we both said we would like to come back to again. It gave us great access to neighborhoods we would like to explore more."
