Recent Trump International Tower Review: "My family enjoyed a wonderful stay in an Executive City View Suite at The Trump International Hotel & Tower Jan. 1-5. Although the lobby is surprisingly small and unassuming, the moment you walk in you are warmly greeted and pampered. As we checked in, we were offered warm towels and our choice of complimentary drinks, which were brought up to the room. When we arrived in the room, there was a nice plate of milk and delicious cookies from the Jean George restaurant on the table. The accomodations were perfert for the four of us. My husband and I had a king sized bed, while the two girls (16 and 6) shared the double sofa bed in the separate living area. It might have been tight for them, but they were knocked out by the time we were done exploring the city everyday. The suite had a small but more than adequate kitchen equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, plates, dishes, silverware, and glasses. There were mini-bar items, but we stocked up on food and drinks from the Whole Foods Market located across the street. The bathroom was nicely stocked with good-sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, lotion and soaps. There were nice little extras such as the bath salts and a gold mesh amenities bag. I liked that the vanity allowed for ample storage of personal belongings. Although I didn't use it, there was a scale if you are watching your weight. Only minor complaint is that there was no fan in the bathroom. Every night for turndown service, a mat is placed on either side of the bed along with slippers and bathrobes. The service also included bottled water, ice in a bucket and chocolates on a silver tray. The housekeeping staff was friendly and very accomodating to our needs. The small and simple details made this hotel stand out, such as having the newspaper in a cloth bag hanging on the doorknob vs. laying on the floor. We asked the attache' to make resevations at the Jean George restaurant. He called back promptly and within 3 minutes"
