This hotel was clean and inexpensive. The area was perfect. The subway is right outside your door. The only thing I will tell you is make sure when you make your reservation that you insist on a room in the back. The few rooms that are in the front are extremely noisy!

Dingy, small rooms, extremely small bathroom. In general, third class. Howeverm convenient to the NY Eye & Ear Infirmary.
