Recent Wellington Hotel Review: "I admit, I was skeptical when I originally booked the Wellington, however it turned out to be an excellent choice. The room was relatively small but a nice size for a New York room. The shower and bathroom were maintained very well and we had good water pressure (which I've had trouble with in other hotels in the past). Everything was very clean and  I didn't find or see anything that was dirty at all. The hotel staff was very professional and friendly as well which is one of the most important factors. Another high point was the location to everything. The subway is right outside the door so there is no need to walk far away. On the other hand if you did want to walk, many things are close. Carengie Hall is one block up, Central park is a few blocks up, and Times Square about 7-10 blocks down. All these places take at most a few minutes to get to and there's lots of interesting places to see along the way. I highly recommend Wellington Hotel to any New York City vistor."
