Recent Wyndham Garden Broadway Fifth Review: "I travel frequently to NYC for work; I've stayed in several hotels in the area and keep coming back to the Wyndham Garden. The #1 thing that creates a homey feeling is the front desk staff!! I can't mention every one by name.... but each staff person at the front desk made a point of greeting me when I came in and went out, offered help and advice around  restaurants and other needed services... even encouraged a colleague and myself who arrived from the airport very late to go out and find some "real food" for dinner! Also I should mention that I had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel, and they were quite friendly to a solo diner, which was great. The pizza place two doors down is also quite good, so there are plenty of choices right around the hotel. My only (slight) criticism--or item of feedback-- is about the heating units in the room-- if you try and warm up the room quickly, the heater gets too hot and that can set off the fire alarm! Nothing bad really happens, it's just a bit noisy and inconvenient. It does seem like those heating units need some attention....but they do work and are no reason not to stay at the homey Wyndham!"
